A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to hone your Project Managment (PM) skills while being a valuable member of the Steam Turbine Valves PM team! Helping to ensuring we are able to support outage project schedules as needed. You will coordinate with other PM professionals, Finance, Engineering, Repair Shops and Supply Management to support the overall program needs including forecasting, warehousing, parts kitting and financial management.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide daily support for the Project Management team by assisting with customer visits, participating in daily status meetings and managing inbound and outbound transportation to learn some of the basics of the project management role.
  • Complete special projects to drive process improvements within the Project Management department and other related areas within the organization.
  • Assist with improving and developing documentation for departmental process and procedures.
  • Provide training and information sharing with future development project managers, particularly when transitioning into the project management role.

What You Bring
  • Minimum required education is a bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.
  • At least 1-3 years relevant work experience required, preferably in the power generation industry. A combination of education, training, and/or internships may be considered in lieu of on the job work experience. 
  • Strong work ethic and willing to do what it takes to get the job done on time and with high quality
  • Strong written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills
  • Domestic travel up to 10% (primarily during Spring & Fall outage seasons)
