A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Gas Service Distributed Industry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering complex projects within the gas service sector, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the gas service industry.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Communicate project status, updates, and any changes to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, reports, and technical specifications.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes.
• Manages customer expectations.
• Regularly performs lessons learned activities and feeds the results into own project and organization.
• Lives full responsibility for the financial results according to set targets.
• Ensures regular financial controlling and reporting according to regulations.
• The Project Manager is supported by the assigned Commercial Project Manager and maintains a close collaboration with him/ her.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• PMP (Project Management Professional), IPMA-C certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the gas service or energy industry..
• Experience on handling the rotating equipment contracts Power Generation or Oil and Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Willingness to travel as required.
