Project Management Intern at Siemens Energy

As a Project Management Intern, you will support the project management team in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various initiatives within the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and process improvement, offering a solid foundation for a career in project management. In this role, you will assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation, contributing to the overall success of projects. You will support project managers in tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring the timely delivery of milestones. Your contributions will help ensure that projects are completed on time and meet organizational objectives. You will participate in team meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items, fostering a collaborative environment. This position is ideal for a proactive and organized individual eager to learn from experienced professionals and apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and related documentation.
• Support project managers in tracking project progress against key milestones.
• Assist in the identification and documentation of potential project risks and issues.
• Participate in team meetings, assist in preparing agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
• Help coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Support communication efforts with project stakeholders as directed.
• Contribute to the creation of project status reports and performance analysis.
• Assist in documenting best practices and supporting process improvement initiatives.
• Utilize tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and prepare presentations

What You Bring 

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Student in their final year of study, completing a mandatory end-of-studies internship (Projet de Fin d'Études).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) is a plus
