A Snapshot of Your Day
This position will be supporting the Project Management Office which is part of the Service Programs Department in Siemens Energy. The Project Management Office includes commercial integration of new technologies into our service fleet, logistical support, and the creation and analysis of service program fleet models to optimize program execution. The position will support any one of these three main areas depending on the business needs.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Create hypothetical what-if cost modeling scenarios to compare cost changes if current project conditions are altered. Present these results to upper management to evaluate the commercial viability of a project in the given scenario. This involves in-person presentations and discussions with upper management to ensure a thorough understanding of the potential impacts.
- Collaborate with the eFMT development team to communicate and address issues or bugs within the application. This collaboration ensures that the application functions smoothly and meets the project's requirements.
- Support the organization by working with collaborators to understand business needs and gain alignment across different partners. This involves frequent in-person meetings to discuss and get approval on possible solutions, ensuring all collaborators are aligned and agree, and the solutions are efficiently implemented. Should also be proficient in presenting to large groups
- Work with team members to design, develop, and maintain complex dashboards and Alteryx workflows. In-person collaboration is crucial to understand the requirements and ensure the workflows are effective and meet the organization's needs.
- Conduct eFMT in-person training twice a year in the Orlando office to ensure all project managers and commercial project team members are up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices of the organization. This training helps maintain a high level of competency and knowledge within the team.
- The ideal candidate should have an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Finance with a solid understanding of data structures. Should also be proficient with relational databases and have at least 5 years of experience in data visualization or data analytics,
What You Bring
- Maintain the Unplanned Event and role recertifications for the service programs portfolio.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience on Information Technology, Industrial Engineer, Computer Science or Finance Degree with a solid understanding of data structures.
- Proficient with SAP, eFMT, Tableau , SQL Server, Alteryx and Oracle databases.
- 4- 5 years of experience in data visualization or data analytics.
- Must be proficient in presenting to large groups.
- Must come into the office at least 3 days a week.
- C1 Level English proficiency
