Über die Aufgabe
- Responsible for the overall plant design of HVDC systems considering customer specification, country-specific standards and EHS requirements
- Lead and manage a global project team of engineers with responsibility on plant design, primary engineering, acoustics and seismic
- Interface coordination of several engineering disciplines involved in the 3D design process to ensure an integrated design with focus on quality and on-time delivery
- Ensure project objectives are aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project management and line management
- Long-term professional experience in the energy sector, ideally in the field of AC substations, HVDC or FACTS systems
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working in a matrix organization
