A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Project Engineer in our Grid Technologies division, you will target candidates with a strong background in engineering and project management, particularly those experienced in resource planning and coordination. You will work on impactful projects that ensure the reliable installation and commissioning of power transformers across Europe, contributing to the backbone of the energy transition. Your role will enhance team productivity and efficiency, aligning with Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver sustainable and innovative energy solutions, all within a collaborative and diverse team culture that values proactive contributions and high-quality results.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Develop and maintain an overall utilization plan for field services personnel.
- Allocate resources effectively based on project pipelines and opportunities.
- Identify gaps in resource utilization and create hiring plans accordingly.
- Monitor and report on productivity levels, ensuring optimal efficiency.
- Prepare departmental plans for training, tool calibration, and maintenance schedules.
- Contribute to global resource management efforts through effective information exchange.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant planning experience in construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities to manage dynamic environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to anticipate project needs.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
