A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects with regard to driving large and complex Energy projects in various business models. You will be working together with the Commercial Project Manager and the project execution team to ensure a high project execution quality. Your daily work will include lots of collaboration with technical project managers, partners, and other team members.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support the commercial project execution of contracts with customers, regional companies, consortium partners, sub-suppliers and other Siemens Energy entities, in close collaboration with the Commercial Project Management.
• Support in the forecast and reporting.
• Support commercial activities that are conducted in accordance with Siemens Energy guidelines.
• Regular discussions and maintenance of the current cost calculation with project management.
• Handling of sub-supplier and contractor purchase orders, check accurately timing and cost accuracy of supplier invoices, as well as cost controlling for the project.
• Support with all other financial and commercial aspects of the project such as tax issues, hiring out of personnel, bank guarantees, insurance claims etc.
• Support project execution teams with various administrative tasks, travel expense reports etc.

What You Bring

•  Bachelor’s degree or proper education in business administration.
• Confirmed experience, at least 3 years of working in the commercial projects business.
• Experience in project controlling, invoicing, purchase orders, hiring-out of personnel, currency management, tax topics and month-end closing process.
• Experience in commercially working with several business models (internal and external consortium, contract split).
• Know how to collaborate in a global project environment.
• Ability to work in a team and you cope well with temporary high workloads.
• Strong mentality to work and collaborate with colleagues from several countries on different levels in organization.
• Open demeanor, hands-on mentality, resilience and determined.
• You are detailed when it is needed and you are used to deliver on time with the right quality.
• Experience of SAP (PS, FI/CO), MS Excel.
• You have good interpersonal skills and can communicate expertly in English and Polish.

These encompass international Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects for High Voltage Alternate / Direct Current (HVAC and HVDC) projects, Gas and Steam Power Plants, Hydrogen projects (H2), and hybrid solutions.
