A Snapshot of Your Day

In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving the marketing and sales of Compressor Long Term Programs (LTP) and associated services for the Latin America region. As an Expert Professional within the Global Service Operations team, you will focus on offering Long Term Service Programs, Operations and Maintenance, on the new and installed fleet. Your responsibilities will encompass three core areas: Strategic Sales & Business Development for acquiring high-value Long Term Service Program accounts, Technical Solution & Proposal Management for creating tailored service program offerings, and Market & Product Strategy to ensure our service programs remain competitive and innovative. Your extensive experience in technical sales within the Oil & Gas or Industrial Power Generation markets will be essential for success in this role.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with key customers, EPCs, and consultants.
  • Generate tailored sales proposals and cost models for complex service solutions, coordinating with internal experts to define viable solutions for the compressor portfolio.
  • Ensure the successful integration of multiple products and services (e.g., Revamps/Mods, Parts, Field Service, Controls) into a cohesive value proposition.
  • Lead or support customer negotiations from initial contact through to contract closure, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy’s business interests and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations, influencing their long-term service and maintenance strategies.
  • Evaluate project risks and opportunities, articulating them to senior management during the bid approval process.
  • Develop new business models and advanced commercial concepts for service program contracts based on market analysis and competitive intelligence.
  • Analyze market trends within the Oil & Gas and Industrial Power Generation sectors to inform product strategies and identify cross-divisional opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback to support the development and implementation of new service products, processes, or operational standards that impact functional results.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical studies from an accredited university or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development, or project management, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Power Generation industries. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level position.
  • Strong sales and commercial acumen with a proven track record in consultative selling and contract negotiation.
  • Expertise in strategic account management and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Technical knowledge of compressor systems and service program design (LTP, O&M) strongly preferred.
  • Financial acumen in cost modeling and risk analysis, along with strong proposal management and stakeholder management skills.
