A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will analyze upcoming market trends and derive equipment specifications for new products. You will supervise the development of new DT switchgear with our R&D experts, managing the process with agile methods. Collaborating with our sales and marketing experts, you will develop strategies and promotional material to ensure the successful market development of your products. You will experience the exciting entry into a product cycle by accompanying the development up to the market launch. Additionally, you will investigate and conduct factory internal projects, supporting our general management. Throughout this journey, you will meet an international team that is always available for advice due to their diverse expertise.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Listen to and understand customer, cluster and sales feedback, evaluate product opportunities.
- Create and maintain business cases to define the most rewarding product developments.
- Define R&D projects for portfolio optimization.
- Create Product strategy and define the product development roadmap
- Support the business areas in creating an optimum product in order to meet the product strategy and targets
- Assure smooth factory and market introduction of portfolio optimizations
- Monitor market and perform technical/commercial analyses of competitor products
- Enable a high-performing culture focusing on learning and continuous improvement, with an engaged and motivated workforce
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree
- 8+ years experience. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
- In-depth technical knowledge in the field of high-voltage technology and circuit breakers
- General sales experience or dealing with customers
- Experience in project management in an international environment
- Curiosity to grow and learn the latest technical solutions
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
