A regular day involves coordinating pre‑assembly site activities to keep logistics and schedules on track. This includes working closely with transport contractors, vessel agents, and stevedores to support daily port operations, as well as managing the flow of nacelle logistics and standstill maintenance between the factory, port, and project sites. There is a strong focus on safety through routine HSE discussions, site walks, and inspections, alongside ongoing engagement with key stakeholders such as the Port Authority, and when transport activities are scheduled at night, joining operations as required to ensure safe and smooth execution.

• Optimize resource utilization by planning construction activities to meet project schedules and milestones.
• Prevent delays and rework by proactively identifying and resolving specification and drawing discrepancies.
• Maintain construction continuity by ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower on site.

The Port Operations Manager (POM) leads the port team, providing daily guidance and ensuring that all operations align with company procedures, HSE standards, and required competencies. The POM is responsible for developing the team’s skills, maintaining operational readiness, and ensuring that internal workflows are executed safely and efficiently.

In addition to leading the internal team, the POM also manages subcontractors who execute daily port activities—such as stevedores, lifting crews, transport companies, and equipment service providers. The POM ensures subcontractors perform according to contractual requirements and operational standards, coordinates their activities on site, and monitors their performance. By guiding subcontractor supervisors, resolving operational issues in real time, and ensuring close coordination between internal staff and subcontracted teams, the POM enables seamless execution of all daily port operations.

• Leads day‑to‑day execution of component transport operations, including quay–factory import/export and deliveries to PA project sites.
• Ensures safe, compliant, and efficient port operations, escalating risks and issues to the Manager as required.
• Acts as a key operational interface with the Port Authority, supporting regulatory compliance and operational approvals for vessel operations at the public quay, ensuring smooth execution of planned activities.
• Supports the sales/tendering team with operational planning, cost logic, and execution assumptions, ensuring alignment with on‑site capabilities.
• Drives on‑time component delivery in line with the project program and cost expectations.
• Monitors costs and supports the avoidance of non‑conformance (NC) impacts within the Port of Taichung (POT) scope.
• Coordinates and supports port operations among all internal stakeholders in the Port of Taichung.
• Manages ad‑hoc transport activities within the Port of Taichung.
• Demonstrates leadership experience and strong cross‑functional communication skills.
• Communicates fluently in both Chinese and English.
