A Snapshot of Your Day

At Siemens Energy, we’re dedicated to transforming the energy landscape—making it greener, more reliable, and more affordable. With over 170 years of innovation and engineering excellence, we continue to lead the industry in advanced energy technologies. Safety is our highest priority, guided by a Zero Harm culture and strict adherence to OSHA standards to ensure every employee returns home safely.

We are currently seeking a Planning & Logistic Professional to plan operations in Large Power Transformer production. This role controls and monitors processes within production to ensure a smooth throughput of the production orders, considering optimum use of the resources. The ideal candidate requires a strong commitment to work with different departments to define the best plan for manufacturing processes in coordination with the master plan. Join us in shaping a smarter, safer, and more efficient energy future.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan and prepare all production activities by balancing order demand, production capacity, inventory levels, delivery backlogs, procurement constraints, workforce availability, cycle times, and material lead times to enable an optimal production sequence.
  • Create, maintain, and complete all required production documentation and system data for each production order, ensuring efficient, accurate, and high-quality execution.
  • Actively manage and adjust production sequences in real time, coordinating material call-offs to ensure schedules launch on time and resources are used effectively.
  • Track, record, and monitor production workflows and completion reports to maintain real-time visibility into production status within the system.
  • Coordinate material movements across production units to support smooth, uninterrupted production runs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and interface teams, proactively sharing relevant information to maintain alignment and optimize the end-to-end logistics chain.
  • Lead first-level production meetings in partnership with the Manufacturing Department Manager, driving action plans and corrective measures when deviations from plan occur.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
  • Working knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and logistics processes.
  • Experience with planning and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Primavera, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Project, for planning, tracking, and analysis.
  • Ability to analyze data related to capacity, inventory, lead times, and order status to support decision making.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • Analytical and problem solving mindset with the ability to make timely, data driven decisions.
  • Team oriented, results driven, and comfortable working in a fast paced operational setting
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Current Siemens Energy employees with existing visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfer consideration.
