Über die Aufgabe
- Design and layout of multi-layer PCBs for sensor-based systems with analog front-end and high-speed digital interfaces.
- Team up with electrical engineers to translate schematics into optimized PCB layouts.
- Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI standards and best practices in layout and component placement.
- Optimize signal integrity and power integrity for high-frequency communication paths (e.g., RF, LVDS, SerDes).
- Perform design rule checks (DRC), layout-versus-schematic (LVS) checks, and prepare documentation for manufacturing.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure that mechanical constraints and thermal management are addressed.
- Support prototypes bring-up, testing, and debugging of PCB assemblies.
- Collaborate with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to ensure manufacturability and quality
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PCB layout design, preferably in sensor or RF systems.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics.
- Strong understanding of analog front-end design principles and noise-sensitive layout techniques.
- Experience with EMC/EMI mitigation strategies and compliance testing.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital design and RF layout practices.
- Knowledge of IPC standards and DFM/DFT principles.
- Experience with simulation tools for signal integrity and EMC (e.g., HyperLynx, Ansys SIwave).
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNA).
- Understanding of sensor technologies and their electrical interfaces.
- Experience with rigid-flex PCB design and miniaturized electronics
