This new Order and Dispatch Manager position is being created within the Arrester & Components Order Management team to support significant business growth and manage increased operational complexity. Given the focus on order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and process integration, the ideal candidate will possess proven experience in order processing within SAP and business English. Furthermore, experience in customer communication, logistics operations, and a background in a technical product business are essential for success in this role.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Manage the complete order-to-cash process for arresters and components, including order entry in SAP and invoicing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and inquiries.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity for all orders within the ERP system (SAP).
- Collaborate with sales, production planning, and finance to resolve any order-related discrepancies or issues.
- Act as the key interface for the outsourced storage and dispatch service provider, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Coordinate the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) process, analyze and optimize order management and dispatch workflows, and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for order fulfillment and logistics.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or a completed vocational training with equivalent experience.
- First professional experience in order management, dispatch, or logistics, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP (SD module).
- Strong customer communication skills, including effective relationship management
- Proven ability to manage and optimize logistics operations, ensuring compliance with export control and customs regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and the ability to generate insights from data to enhance operational efficiency.
