A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Operations Lead, you will lead a new, insourced team of Global Mobility Services Consultants in Romania. The primary business aim is to manage the daily operations of Siemens Energy's global mobility program, ensuring service efficiency, compliance, and responsiveness to business needs through service desks and software platforms. To achieve this, the role is structured around three core areas: Team Leadership & Development, Global Mobility Operations Management, and Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration. 

This focus ensures the successful establishment of the new team, effective management of the end-to-end international assignment lifecycle, and seamless coordination with all internal and external partners.


How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the daily operations of a team of global mobility specialists.
  • Set day-to-day operational objectives and ensure team adherence to company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Facilitate cohesive collaboration within the newly formed team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing on global mobility programs.
  • Conduct performance management, provide regular feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Oversee and coordinate complex, end-to-end global mobility processes, including the entire lifecycle of international assignments.
  • Ensure all mobility activities are compliant with immigration, tax, and local labor laws.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of assignment-related documentation, cost projections, and policy adherence.
  • Monitor operational efficiency, address service desk requests, and ensure high levels of service delivery to assignees and business stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external immigration, tax, and relocation vendors, managing relationships and contract administration.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure effective cost management and service level agreement (SLA) adherence.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, managers, and assignees, to communicate and uphold global mobility operational standards.
  • Support global mobility transformation initiatives by facilitating the implementation of new technologies, managing data migration, and onboarding new vendors.

What You Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in global mobility operations, preferably within a large, multinational corporate environment.
    • Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory capacity, with responsibility for mentoring and guiding team members.
    • Fluent in English language skills.
