You’ll join GT DG—a vibrant, fast-growing organization in its ramp-up phase, dedicated to developing innovative solutions for the grid of the future. As part of a talented and diverse team, you’ll help shape the growth story of a forward-thinking execution unit.
As the Global Lead for Operational Controlling, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting up the global operational controlling landscape, overseeing, and enhancing key financial processes across the organization. Your day will involve collaborating with international teams to manage reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and deviation analysis.
You’ll drive process definition for a new business, optimize controlling and reporting workflows, and ensure accurate and timely financial data—providing the transparency needed for solid business decisions in cross-functional teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work together with a global team in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and deviation analysis for critical financial metrics, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
- Establish efficient financial value streams in regional units, supporting the diverse business models of SE GT Digital Grid.
- Collaborate with international teams to optimize and standardize controlling and reporting processes, transitioning from manual Excel-based workflows to a digital landscape.
- Oversee CAPEX controlling and reporting.
- Ensure global harmonized reporting landscape across regions.
- Support M&A integration process within the area of operational controlling.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Business, Finance, or a related field
- Long-term experience, including at least 2 years in a controlling function
- Proven experience and strong analytical skills in financial controlling, reporting, and process optimization within a global environment.
- Solid understanding of SAP and financial systems.
- Proficiency in process improvement, with a track record of transitioning manual processes to automated solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate across international teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to driving transparency and efficiency.

Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid. The power grid is the backbone of the energy transition. Siemens Energy offers a leading portfolio and solutions in HVDC transmission, grid stabilization and storage, high voltage switchgears and transformers, and digital grid technology.
Digital Grid is a 3-year-old execution unit experiencing rapid organic & inorganic growth and is at the forefront of portfolio transformation for GT.
