A Snapshot of Your Day

As a One Stop Service Technician – Lifting & Maintenance at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of lifting equipment across our wind energy projects. Based in Esbjerg, you’ll be part of a skilled and dedicated team responsible for inspections, registration, and maintenance of lifting gear, as well as performing servicing, repairs, and electrical safety tests in line with manufacturer specifications. You’ll work both locally and across European projects, including in the Netherlands, Poland, and France, depending on operational needs. This role offers structured training, development opportunities, and the chance to be part of an innovative and safety-driven organization – all within a 14/14 rotation schedule.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Inspect, register, and maintain both existing and new lifting equipment.
  • Carry out installation, fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Perform scheduled servicing of lifting tools and systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Apply strong mechanical knowledge, especially within hydraulics, to resolve maintenance and breakdown issues.
  • Support the calibration of electrical and hydraulic tools and perform electrical safety testing.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to HSE standards and promote a culture of safety and care in every task.

What You Bring

  • A hands-on technician mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Good IT skills, particularly with MS Office and basic PC applications.
  • A structured and logical approach to problem-solving and fault-finding.
  • Willingness to travel and work internationally as required by project locations.
