A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of this 20 - 24 weeks thesis, you work with the intersection of data from business, service, sales, and technology. You are responsible for building a framework across different systems by understanding and structuring the data and translating them to enable data-driven decision-making.

You have strong analytical skills and thrive in a role that bridges different teams. In your daily work, you collaborate closely with development engineers and specialists, sometimes with architects, and data engineers. Together, you ensure that business needs are captured, defined, and implemented in effective data solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Collect, analyze, and document data needs from different teams, translating them into structured requirements and specifications.
  • Work closely with development engineers and BID managers to break down needs into clear backlog items and support prioritization.
  • Collaborate with development engineering to ensure requirements are clearly understood, technically feasible, and can be properly implemented.
  • Analyze available data and generate decision-support insights that help the business identify patterns, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to structured ways of working in requirements management, data quality, and continuous process improvement.
  • Play a key role in helping the business adopt more data-driven decision-making by connecting relevant data, highlighting its value, and ensuring that decision support is both available and useful.

What You Bring

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science & AI, Industrial Management, or another relevant field.
  • You have coding experience in C, C++, or Python.
  • You have knowledge of Machine Learning and AI.
  • Experience in industrial processes, service, or gas turbine operations is considered a merit, but is not required.
  • You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working in a data-driven environment.
  • You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You express yourself well, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English.
