A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic Maintenance team at the Tampa Blades & Vanes manufacturing facility as a Senior Professional Maintenance Engineer (P3). In this pivotal role, you will ensure the reliability and performance of critical plant machinery and systems, directly supporting our production operations. You will develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies, lead root cause analyses for equipment failures, and manage maintenance projects from planning to execution. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, making a significant impact on both immediate operations and long-term asset performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime for critical plant machinery and systems.
  • Lead root cause analysis for complex equipment failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze equipment performance data using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to identify failure trends and recommend reliability improvements.
  • Manage maintenance-related projects, including equipment upgrades and installations, from planning through execution.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex mechanical, electrical, and facility-related systems while coaching junior team members.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience managing maintenance projects and working independently on complex problems.
  • Strong skills in predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and using CMMS.
  • Knowledge of compliance and quality standards, including Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
