You’ll manage global transport orders, including transport planning, document preparation, and track & trace activities. You’ll coordinate with international logistics service providers and business partners to ensure smooth and timely deliveries, while working with a fantastic and supportive team. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Preparation of complete transport and customs documentation, including specific requirements for dangerous goods when applicable.

• Ordering and coordinating transports across all modes based on defined dates, preferred carriers and transportation contracts.
• Coordinating goods pickup with suppliers and ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Managing and monitoring transport activities, providing updates on transport details and current status to all relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinating with internal and external partners, including logistics service providers, carriers, suppliers and project teams, to resolve discrepancies, delays and damages.
• Supporting process optimization and performing order-to-invoice verification for logistics services.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor in a business field (supply chain, logistics or similar) or education with relevant work experience alternatively and e.g forwarding agent/Manager
• 2 - 4 years of experience in Transportation Management covering all modes (air, sea, ground, processing, transport ordering and monitoring, project logistics)
• Experience in managing Logistics Services is already gained by ensuring accurate, on time and economical delivery services to suit customer needs and/or meet internal project requirements
• Preferably basic knowledge in export processes and documents
• High analytical ability, customer & solution orientation as well as your social competence, assertiveness and a high organizational & team ability are further elements of your set of skills
• Above average communication skills to stay informed, to collaborate and to distribute all relevant information to internal & external business partners e.g. internal and external suppliers, project management, logistics service providers
• Excellent communication skills throughout all levels in the organization in English, spoken and written.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Teams Word etc.), and basic knowledge in SAP
