A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our Operational Excellence team in Budapest as a part-time trainee, where you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement for Distribution Transformers. Imagine providing hands-on support with essential Operational Excellence tools while engaging in productivity improvement projects. You will operate and maintain our 3D printer, assist in designing lean pipe structures, and contribute to the execution of innovative solutions. Your proactive approach and foundational understanding of lean principles will help you thrive in this dynamic environment, making a real impact on our operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will provide daily operational support for OE tools, including the 3i idea management system and 6S workplace organization initiatives.
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on the 3D printer to create prototypes, fixtures, and small parts for production support.
- Assist in designing and assembling lean pipe structures for custom workstations, flow racks, and material handling solutions.
- Support data collection and basic analysis for ongoing productivity and continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in team meetings to understand project goals and contribute to problem-solving sessions.
What You Bring
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- While no prior professional experience is required, academic or personal project experience with lean concepts or 3D printing is advantageous.
- You possess a foundational understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including 6S and Kaizen.
- You have strong technical knowledge in 3D printing operation and data collection.
- Your behavioral competencies include problem-solving, teamwork, proactive learning, and attention to detail.
