A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Lead Digitalization Expert (f/m/d) within Digital Operations (GT SO DO), focusing on Tender & Project Management within Grid Solutions for large infrastructure High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Grid Access (GA) projects, you are the hands-on digital partner shaping how these projects are prepared, handed over, and executed. You work closely with Tendering, Project Management, and Project Controls to simplify core workflows, improve data consistency, and increase transparency across the tender-to-project lifecycle.

Your day is shaped by supporting the business in tackling real execution challenges typical for large-scale, multi-year projects: complex tool landscapes, inconsistent data across project phases and regions, manual processes, and limited end-to-end transparency across tendering, project, and site activities. You define and own the digital strategy for tender and project management of highly complex HVDC/GA projects and actively turn it into robust, feasible, and sustainable digital solutions.

Working at the intersection of Digital Operations, HV business teams, and IT, you ensure that digital solutions are embedded into daily tender and project management routines and deliver measurable impact for ongoing and future projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Lead the digitalization of tender and project management processes in the High Voltage environment, focusing on tender preparation, project handover, execution transparency, and reporting
  • Drive the implementation of digital solutions and process improvements across Tendering and Project Management, ensuring alignment with TPS standards, DO guardrails, and the end to end project operating model
  • Enable collaboration and adoption by facilitating targeted workshops with Tender Managers, Project Managers, and Project Controls to embed digital solutions into day to day work
  • Strengthen data foundations and literacy by improving the consistency, structure, and reuse of tender and project data across phases and systems
  • Identify and prioritize high value digital opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve handover quality, and increase predictability in HV projects
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Digital Operations, IT, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Site Management to ensure integrated digital workflows across the full project lifecycle
  • Provide digital expertise to support Tendering and Project Management in shaping solutions that are aligned, and future-proof across long project lifecycles
What You Bring
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a comparable field
  • Several years of relevant work experience in tendering, project management, or digitalization within complex project or High Voltage environments
  • Strong understanding of tender to project workflows and the practical needs of Project Managers and Tender Leads
  • Experience with project management tools, data structures, and digital solutions supporting project execution is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration
  • Structured, pragmatic, and hands‑on working style with a strong focus on operational impact
