A Snapshot of Your Day

As LEAN Project Manager in our Offshore Heavy Lift team you will use your expertise to drive operational excellence and improve efficiency in our processes. You will actively engage with both the offshore and the office team to identify optimizations that reduce Time-on-Turbine, ensuring a streamlined workflow. Your role will involve deploying Lean standards, documenting methods, and collaborating with team members to implement upgrades in for example tooling and equipment. By analyzing processes and disruptions, you will develop solutions that make a tangible impact on our operations. Your contributions will not only improve existing routines but also support the integration of future management processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive and support all LEAN activities within the Heavy Lift team, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to identify and implement optimizations that decrease Time-on-Turbine.
  • Deploy LEAN standards and document methods and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze processes to identify weak points, develop solutions, and support their implementation.
  • Propose and oversee LEAN projects, evaluating costs and benefits while tracking improvements and reporting to stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s or diploma degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with LEAN processes, with a solid track record in successful LEAN implementation.
  • Strong skills in process mapping and improvement design, with experience in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, to effectively engage with internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel an average of 1 week per month and thriving to work in heights and at sea.

About the Team

As part of the Offshore Maritime & Major Programs organization (M&MP), our Heavy Lift team is responsible for offshore Major Component Exchanges globally from our Jack-Up Vessels, exchanging major components such as blades and bearings. Our global team consists of project manager, tooling coordinator, planners, and many more. The team works on turbines across Europe, the Baltics, the North Atlantic, France, Taiwan, Japan & Korea, and the United States.
