A Snapshot of Your Day

The Product Management Specialist will primarily focus on identifying business opportunities, and designing, developing, and commercializing products that will drive customer value and generate additional revenue streams for Integrated Power Solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform end-to-end business responsibility for the assigned products from development to a successful market entry, creating a scalable and profitable business, going much beyond just shaping them at the concept level.
  • Collaborate with Sales in developing project proposals by coordinating cost, lead time, and technical content.
  • Work very closely with sales to understand the market/customer needs and build solutions.
  • Align regional feedback from Sales, Service, and client managers to drive improvement in product and service offerings of IPS products.
  • You will collaborate with different departments to drive growth and value for our product, solution, and service business.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering (MBA preferred). 10+ years of combined experience in the product line - Large Gas Turbine/or Aero Derivative.
  • Demonstrated experience with product development, and ability to translate customer and market feedback to product requirements & or business models.
  • Ability to use data to assess business cases, financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to lead and manage complex gas turbines and package developments from product management perspective and interact with technical teams and guide them if necessary.
  • Direct experience interacting with the end customer, along with a solid understanding of the market.
  • Entrepreneur mentality and business savvy with a clear understanding of how to shape profitable products and business with a customer-centric attitude.
  • Proven networking and problem-solving skills, working in a multi-functional matrixed team.
  • Proficiency with service product commercialization and working with end customers in Large Gas Turbines or Aero derivative product lines are highly desired!
  • International experience working abroad and with different cultures and effectively communicating with distributed team members and customers.
