A Snapshot of Your Day 

As an Industrial Cybersecurity Officer (m/f/d), you will advise and support global and multicultural portfolios, R&D’s and project teams to build and implement the best-fitted cybersecurity architectures and technologies while keeping cost-aware.

In this role, you will also interact with the leadership team to better understand the cybersecurity needs and demands of relevant regulatory and standards, our market, and customers, of our products, solutions and services and our Battery Storage factory.

You will set the direction and steppingstones to make our Storage portfolio “born cyber-resilient” and will translate demands and gaps into actionable roadmaps.

You will be part of a larger Industrial Cybersecurity community both at Grid Technologies and Siemens Energy, where you will exchange and grow through guideline sharing with your peers as well as specialized training.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Employ your IT and OT expertise to advise and support the Product Portfolio and R&D teams with resilient and efficient cybersecurity architectures and technologies
  • Support project teams through all steps of the product lifecycle and contribute to security related activities such as e.g., Threat & Risk Analysis, project classifications, architecture review, Penetration Testing
  • Support the coordination and execution of business unit incident and vulnerability handling activities and processes
  • Responsible for tailoring an Industrial cybersecurity strategy and roadmap fit for the Storage execution unit and in-line with the overall cybersecurity strategy and governance
  • Drive the implementation of the cybersecurity strategy, “hands-on”, across the execution unit’s departments, manufacturing site and regions
  • Support the Storage leadership team regarding cybersecurity for all customer-facing products, solutions, and services
  • Develop measures and advanced protection concepts of OT and IT security (e.g. based on IEC 62443, NERC CIP and ISO 27001) in an innovative working environment and current development projects
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, electronics, cybernetics, or a similar field
  • Several years of experience with at least one year in a specialized role related to Cyber Security
  • Proven experience of IT / OT cybersecurity architectures and technologies
  • A certification in the field of cybersecurity would be an advantage e.g., CISSP, GIAC GCIP, GIAC GICSP, GIAC GPEN, GIAC GCFA, CySa+ or similar
  • Ideally, you are familiar with security standards and regulatory such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, NERC CIP
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, both in English and German
