A Snapshot of Your Day
The IT/OT Support Technician provides frontline technical support to users across the DT organization. This role is responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. The technician works closely with the Global IT/OT Support Lead and other IT/OT teams globally to deliver consistent, high-quality support services in line with global standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide first- and second-line technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT/OT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, business applications, hardware and network connectivity. Support remote users via phone, email, and remote access tools in all sites.
- Provide service Management by global logging, tracking, and resolving incidents, problems and service requests using the organization’s ITSM platform and escalating unresolved issues to appropriate teams or vendors, following defined escalation procedures and ensure the timely resolution of tickets in accordance with SLAs.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with global and local IT/OT teams to ensure consistent support coverage, communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users and participate in local and global IT/OT meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Ensure the system maintenance, assisting with software installations, updates, and patch management, supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and hardware provisioning and maintaining accurate inventory of IT/OT assets and updating documentation regularly.
- Ensure a continuous improvement identifying recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce incidents, contributing to the development of support documentation and user guides and staying updated on new technologies and best practices in support.
What You Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT/OT support or helpdesk roles.
- Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in local language and English.

You will be part of the Transformers Colombian team; specifically, the Operational Excellence department, with constant interaction with teams from all areas that interact in the supply chain.
