A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of Training Center Americas, you will build and lead a world-class organization that trains internal and external customers on industrial and aeroderivative gas turbine technologies. Your day will include shaping the facility's operational model, developing training strategies, collaborating with Field Service and adjacent functions, and engaging directly with stakeholders to ensure our courses deliver technical excellence. You'll play a foundational role in establishing the center, assembling a high-performing team, and defining training programs that support Siemens Energy's global service capabilities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the build-up, operational readiness, and long-term development of the new Houston Training Center for industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a new team of instructors and coordinators.
  • Define the training portfolio, including classroom, hands-on, digital, and blended-learning formats tailored to internal Field Service teams, the needs of adjacent functions, and external customer needs.
  • Ensure training quality, standardization, safety compliance, and alignment with the global Gas Services – Distributed training strategy.
  • Manage facility operations, budget, training equipment, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent relevant experience) in Engineering, Business, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in service, engineering, or training functions within the power-generation or turbomachinery industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in building, developing, and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial and/or aeroderivative gas turbine technology (Siemens Energy or equivalent OEM experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience with training program development, curriculum design, or technical learning methodologies is beneficial.
  • Effective communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team  

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
