A Snapshot of Your Day 

Every day will bring interesting and challenging opportunities that you’ll work on together with an international team. As Head of Sales (f/m/d) you’ll closely guide your team and cooperate with internal partners to develop complex projects, including access and insight to upper Management levels. Furthermore, you’ll represent Siemens Energy towards customers and consortium partners.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Responsible for leading and building a world class sales team
  • Deliver customer successes and profits to Siemens Energy by developing and closing technology solutions with customers through partnership with regional and international Hub Sales, marketing, product, engineering, and operations teams
  • Prepare forecasts and develop sales plans that are aligned with revenue targets as well as establish metrics to measure team performance
  • Develop meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with key customers and their network
  • Understand customers’ business model, value drivers, key challenges and opportunities, technical and key commercial requirements, evaluation method and criteria
  • Drive customer focus within the organization by understanding market drivers for energy market, transition and present to the organization
What You Bring
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, other relevant field and 10+ years’ related experience in Sales/Business Development in power generation equipment supply/EPC contracts
  • Technical knowledge of power generation equipment and solutions, in particular Steam Turbines
  • Advanced leadership, teamwork/collaboration, networking skills, strong communication, and presentation skills at all organizational levels
  • Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude as well as experience in an intercultural environment with cross country / region working team
  • Excellent communication skills, English fluency (additional language is a plus) and flexibility to travel
