The Head of Sales for Large Power Transformers (LPT) at Siemens Energy Weiz is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the global sales strategy and ensuring its successful implementation. This role demands a visionary leader who can steer the sales team, foster business growth, and ensure consolidated profitability. The ideal candidate will guide sales and customer management activities, including meticulous planning and forecasting.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Strategic Implementation: Lead the execution of the global sales strategy, guidelines, and targets for the LPT business, leveraging specialized product and unit knowledge to boost sales and achieve defined commercial objectives.
- Sales Management: Establish and enforce sales guidelines while setting ambitious yet achievable sales targets for the Weiz factory sales organization.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and propose sales budgets and growth forecasts in alignment with the unit’s sales strategy, ensuring the timely completion of budgets and regular sales reporting.
- Resource Allocation: Define and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales performance and operational efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Technical Offer, Factory Load Planning, and Project Management to strategically position products and services in the market.
- Leadership and Management: Lead and coordinate the assigned sales team, driving dedicated staff to achieve business goals and contribute to customer-related product development initiatives.
What You Bring
- Educational Background:Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related technology subject.
- Strategic Expertise:Consistent track record in developing and implementing strategic plans, sales initiatives, and fostering strong customer relationships.
- Leadership Experience:Experience in leading teams, with a history of successful business execution and management of multi-disciplined project teams.
- Sales Acumen:Extensive experience in sales, with a strong ability to drive business growth and profitability.
- Interpersonal Skills:Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Travel Flexibility and Language Proficiency:Willingness to travel as necessary to support the team and meet with customers, and proficiency in English and German.
