A Snapshot of Your Day:

Reporting directly to the Head of Grid Solutions EU&AF, the role holder will be responsible for all strategic and operational activities within the Eastern Europe and South Eastern Europe Substations business, specifically to secure and successfully deliver complex projects!

 Be responsible for transforming the business through winning and delivering customer contracts, and through proactive thought leadership in the sector. These substation projects involve complex integration of electrical engineering, digital technology, and civil construction.

How You will make an Impact:

• Delivery of customer requirements to agreed time, cost and quality standards
• Senior customer relationship management from business development through to contract execution and into repeat business
• Thorough understanding of the industry, its drivers and challenges.
• Engagement & motivation of internal team / unit
• Ability to create a value proposition leading into a USP for Siemens Energy
• In depth knowledge of key competitors and their access to customers.
• Deep understanding of value chain and main operational issues of customers.
• Knowledge of main business models of different customers.
• Ability to create customer demand. Influence on relevant Siemens Energy market portfolio
• Well established in external and internal network.

What You Bring:

• Effective track record of managing P&L responsibility in offshore business or offshore large-scale projects
• Strong customer relationship management at all levels
• People management skills, including mentoring and leadership
• Sales and/or Project Delivery Experience
• Excellence in risk & contractual analysis
• Combination of various products and /or systems. Customer specific engineering-, project planning, construction- and commissioning effort in large extent required.
• Experience in analyzing and developing a market and customer base, has led a smaller BU
• Project management certification for senior project management or higher
• Strong conceptual skills and ability to translate strategy, targets and customer needs into deliverable propositions.
