How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Enhance Siemens Energy’s reputation as a leader in motor-driven turbocompressors.
  • Lead client discussions for rotating equipment proposals throughout all project phases, including pre-FEED, FEED, firm proposals, and project execution.
  • Direct a global team of electrical engineers to execute projects during both the proposal and order phases.
  • Drive profitability by managing multiple suppliers for transformer, drive, and motor electrical drive systems while mitigating integration risks.
  • Develop and execute technical strategies for electrical drive systems in motor-driven compressor opportunities.
  • Recommend optimized compressor selections to ensure the best electrical drive system solutions.
  • Attract and influence talented electrical engineers within the Siemens Energy Compression division.
  • Represent Siemens Energy Compression’s electrical expertise at external conferences and industry events.


What You Bring


  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field.
  • 10+ years experience in electrical systems, particularly large electrical motors, variable speed drive systems, and auxiliary components such as transformers, medium voltage switchgear, synchronizing, and protection units.
  • Strong market knowledge of rotating electrical machines and related components (e.g., frequency converters, transformers, cooling systems).
  • Expertise in coordinating power system studies.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions and design integrated electrical drive system solutions for turbo-compressors within client electrical infrastructures.
  • Extensive, recognized technological knowledge in complex electrical drive systems, acknowledged by colleagues and external experts in the field.
  • Willing to travel 15% of the time internationally and domestically.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
