A Snapshot of Your Day 

As the Head of Proposals NC&E (f/m/d), you are leading a team of across several locations working with our global sales organization and serving customers in all relevant market segments for our portfolio of industrial steam turbines. With your PRO NC&E team you are focusing on our entire STG portfolio with focus on control and electrical scope.

The scope of the Proposal Management organization spans across technical presentations to our customers, scope definition, preparing bids, commenting customer specifications, development of cost calculations, analyzing and opportunities, planning mitigations as well as the engagement in technical & commercial clarifications and negotiations. The goal is to deliver winning bids with a high quality in calculation and technical clarification.

As the leader of the team, you manage the competences in your team and will strongly influence the success of the business with your full responsibility for cost, quality and schedule of proposal projects. You will also be responsible to direct, lead and motivate your team to deliver successfully and helping to drive our energy transformation efforts.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Lead the PRO NC&E team in developing winning, customer-focused proposals
  • Take technical responsibility for creating competitive bids within defined timelines
  • Manage the proposal pipeline, including opportunity prioritization, capacity management, and load planning
  • Proactively understand customer needs and market trends, translating insights into a strong R&D pipeline to secure long-term success
  • Demonstrate global cultural sensitivity and effective international collaboration, supported by excellent communication skills
  • Collaborate closely with execution functions to ensure high-quality bids, smooth project handovers, and a culture of knowledge sharing and cross-functional learning
What You Bring
  • MBA / and or Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Long-term overall experience with focus on power plant engineering and Proposal Management or Project Management
  • Experience in leading international teams and steering virtual project teams
  • Good understanding of power plant and steam turbine technology, in particular electrical and I&C scope
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex global customer base and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in an international network
