• Data Accountability: Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve data accountability and operationalize the Data Roles & Responsibilities Framework at Siemens Energy. Lead Enablement and Training Programs for the data roles. Support the build of Data communities in the business areas and bring them closer to our formally established data roles.
• Data Security: Lead the developmend and execution of comprehensive data security and data access management strategies, policies and procedures which are essential for protecting an organization's data assets, mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and maintaining collaborator trust.
• Data Retention: Lead development of retention framework and secure disposal methods to retain data only as vital and dispose of it securely.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with multi-functional teams of Business, Data domains, Cyber security, Legal and Compliance, Applications teams etc. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align strategies with business objectives.
• Team Management & Development: Manage and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve strategic goals aligned with organizational objectives. 
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance data accountability and integrity.

• University degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field.
• Longlasting experience in data management, data governance, data ownership and data security governance roles within large-scale enterprise environments, showcasing proven leadership capabilities.
• Strong track record in developing and implementing effective data governance frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, complemented by robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of data accountability or data ownership, data security and compliance principles and practices.
• Proficiency with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama, or Talend, ideally with experience in data modeling, architecture, and database management systems.
