A Snapshot of Your Day
In the role as a Fleet Owner and Sales Support for Steam Turbines (FOS), you will be the local PCC point of contact within Asia Pacific region for all customer and regional enquiries related to steam turbine overhauls, repairs, modifications and technical studies. You will shape the co-development and implementation of sales strategies and targets in the respective area of responsibility to achieve the targets. In order to make the Steam Turbine service business sustainable and generate growth, you are in direct contact with our customers. Thanks to your technical expertise, you are able to understand and discuss customer requirements.
In cooperation with internally involved specialist departments and thanks to your ability to think beyond and creatively, you are the driver to develop customized customer solutions and create offers. With your competent appearance, you are able to present and discuss offers and solution strategies with the customer.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan the country strategy together with the regional sales team, lead and drive projects forward, and generate growth for the steam turbine fleet you manage. You will win projects with customers, fill the project pipeline, and exceed customer expectations. Additionally, you will prepare offers for customer inquiries, including calculation and pricing, considering financial metrics, and act as a Product Competence Center-project manager for the projects you win.
- Due to your proximity to the market, you provide important information, generate market analyses also responsible for the budgeting and reporting process in the respective area, building a strong network of stakeholders within the marketplace.
- Be part of a strong Product Competence Center sales team
- You achieve sustainable growth in the service business on Steam Turbines within Asia Pacific Region.
- You are responsible for planning and reporting of incoming orders and/or sales for the respective area of responsibility.
- You support active customer acquisition and conduct customer visits with the regional sales team as a Fleet Owner and Sales Support representative for a closer partnership and participate in customer seminars.
- You will be handling tenders and negotiating them in cooperation with the involved technical experts as well as the management.
- Confident in dealing with calculations and pricing, taking into account financial ratios.
What You Bring
- You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent and have relevant, long-term experience in the energy market. Additional knowledge of turbomachinery is an advantage.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in the energy market - additional knowledge of steam turbines is an advantage.
- Inner drive to proactively drive projects internally and externally to meet customer expectations
- Strong communication skills to represent company and customer interests during negotiations, internal project discussions and facilitation of internal/external meetings
- Decisiveness to be accountable for country results in terms of financials, customer satisfaction, and growth
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the Asia Pacific Region
- Excellent communication and written skill in English, additional languages like German are an advantage
