A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
The ideal candidate will use owned experience with commercial projects and forecast modeling to create full transparency of the financial forecast for the IPS business globally (both PCC and regions). The candidate will be instrumental in assisting CPMs and management with solutions to understand their project technical and commercial issues and to provide seamless and transparent information. Further, the candidate will build a platform that can quickly show actuals and forecasted figures by region, by product, by pillar, etc to aid in the management of the business. The candidate will work on digitalization initiatives that can improve the agility, speed, and quality of information provided by IPS Finance.
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance and reporting of all IPS tickets by ARE and region, along with thoughtful analysis of the business and providing recommendations on how to achieve targets.
- Responsible for overseeing the CPM group and first line of support to the Head of Project Management and for ensuring flow of information between the two groups and IPS Finance Management.
- Responsible for all reporting packages that will be provided to IPS and AGT management.
- Improve processes in the planning and reporting areas through digitalization applications.
- Candidate will assist or lead special projects, as assigned.
What You Bring (requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance roles.
- Proven ability to leverage digital and analytics tools such as Snowflake, BA Dash, Power BI, Alteryx Designer, and SAP to drive insights and efficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience collaborating across regional and global teams and proactively obtaining required information.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
