A Snapshot of Your Day

Are you a passionate energy industry professional ready to take on your next challenge? Join us as an Expert Network Studies and play a pivotal role in accelerating the energy transition toward a more sustainable future.

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to coordinate complex technical studies in power transmission and develop tailored solutions that improve energy efficiency while reducing environmental impact. Working as part of a global, diverse, and motivated team, you will partner directly with customers to design optimal solutions for their unique requirements, making a tangible impact on projects that matter worldwide.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Consult on network study projects in a multi-cultural, collaborative environment.
  • Perform detailed analyses of power systems, including transmission and industrial network planning, as well as grid interconnection studies for large-scale generation, storage, and load resources.
  • Support the integration of advanced technologies—such as power electronics, renewable generation, storage systems, and HVDC—into AC grids, from conceptual design to project execution.
  • Analyze high-frequency phenomena such as harmonic distortion, transient overvoltage, TRV, missing zero-crossings, and inrush currents.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) in combination with 2–4 years of experience conducting power system analyses for both steady-state and transient conditions.
  • Broad technical knowledge of transmission planning and operational studies (100 kV to 765 kV), including load flow, dynamic stability, voltage stability, protection coordination, short-circuit, and transfer limit assessments.
  • Advanced expertise in HVDC, FACTS applications, industrial power supply concepts, power electronics, and renewable generation technologies.
  • Proficiency with power system simulation tools such as PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Practical experience in programming languages/tools (e.g., Python, FORTRAN, MATLAB).
  • Excellent verbal and written abilities, enabling effective collaboration with customers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders in a global environment.
