    Snapshot of your day

As an Engineering & Innovation Manager for the Gas Services Solutions business, you could imagine beginning your day by aligning cross‑functional teams and key stakeholders - internal functions and partners - around modularization and innovation priorities across the full EPC lifecycle. Throughout the day, you drive modularization workshops with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, support benchmarking competitor offerings, shape innovation business cases, and cocreate concepts with diverse collaborators to accelerate idea maturity. You wrap up by steering pilot projects toward scalable, standardized offerings that strengthen the future energy portfolio.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Drive modularization, standardization & innovation initiatives by being involved in complete EPC (Erection, Procurement, Commissioning) lifecycle of complex power plants and hybrid solutions
    • Lead and integrate cross-functional teams, esp. interfacing with diverse engineering fields (e.g., electrical, controls & instrumentation, process, mechanical, plant layout, etc.), and collaborate across organizational boundaries to advance concepts towards maturity
    • Benchmark competitor offerings and prototype unconventional approaches; validate business model viability and commercialization paths.
    • Ability to manage the future of energy by interacting with external partners (customers, consultants, suppliers) and internal collaborators, to identify, prioritize and drive new ideas

    What You Bring

    • Significant experience in power plant engineering, solution innovation, product strategy, or portfolio management in energy/industrial projects.
    • Demonstrated ability to create cost-models, business cases, pilot new ideas, and scale innovations into standardized offerings.
    • Fluency with design thinking, D2C and modularization; strong analytical and financial business case acumen.
    • Leadership by influence: can steer cross-functional teams (PRM, Bid Management, Engineering, SCM, Finance) without formal line authority.
    • Persistent, experimental mindset—challenge the status quo, try new things, and collaborate beyond org boxes.
    • University degree; comfortable with global collaboration and limited travel as needed for workshops, discussions.
