A Snapshot of Your Day

Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and installers to wire and pressure rise High Voltage GIS equipment. Interpreting and analyzing technical drawings to understand installation process and procedure. Keeping a safe and clean installation environment following the Siemens Energy installation guidelines to ensure high quality standards. Precise wiring and pressure rising of High Voltage GIS equipment which requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Highlighting cooperation, working in unity, and fulfilling tasks as assigned by a supervisor or team leader.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • The Electrical Supervisor, pivotal for leading all aspects of the installation and testing of High Voltage GIS equipment
  • Management of union contractor’s resources, motivating, directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
  • Active following the lead of wiring/installation processes, procedures, timelines and given schedules
  • Evaluation and decision-making regarding wiring/installation procedures, weighing the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to select the most suitable one

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; 3–5 years of equivalent experience accepted
  • Training or experience in interpreting technical drawings
  • Prior supervisory experience in electrical or technical environments preferred
  • Hands-on experience in the electrical field, including use of tools and measurement equipment
  • Strong partnership orientation with ability to follow structured processes and direction
  • Proficient in English with proven technical vocabulary and clear written/verbal communication
  • Hard-working with a demonstrated ability to learn independently and adapt quickly
  • Comfortable integrating into established teams and workflows
  • The position can be based anywhere in the US, however, will require 80-90% travel across North America
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
