A Snapshot of Your Day

This position requires a dynamic and proven professional that can independently manage various quality management program activities across the entire campus. You will contribute to our business’ success through direct coordination of internal / external customer audits as well as complete management of the site’s documentation (Standard Operating Procedures) within the global platform. In this role, you will collaborate with all levels of leadership, Operations, and all Central functions to ensure compliance and retention of our various certifications (ISO, N299, etc.).

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage Charlotte campus internal audit program including audit plan, execution, system maintenance and development of the internal audit team members
  • Primary lead for external audits including maintaining/monitoring compliance on various campus certifications (ISO, N299, etc.)
  • Documentation management for CLT Campus within the OneEnergy Tenant
  • Quality Improvement System Coordination (QIS) for Central Function groups (Logistics, Maintenance, Quality)
  • Serve as pivotal point for quality, environmental, and safety (EQS) initiatives, thereby improving compliance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Support and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) / metrics reporting as required by the business
  • Learn to perform metrology tasks and support QE Metrology Specialist for various alignment activities

What You Bring

  • Candidate should have BS in Engineering or equivalent, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering background
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to maintain and improve our quality management systems that will ensure compliance with certified standards
  • Sound understanding of IMS requirements and experience in auditing in ISO 9001 Quality Systems
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and LGN products is a benefit
  • Experience with project and schedule management
  • Must be meticulous and able to multi-task in a demanding environment while working across the organization
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a quality management area, including working directly with ISO standards
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills to drive the business to learn and continuously improve
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States

About the Team  

The Charlotte EQS team provides coaching, support and consultation as needed to support the overall Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality programs across the campus. The EQS department will audit these programs to ensure execution. Additionally, the EQS department is responsible for associated metrics collection and reporting, campus wide communications and weekly/ monthly management education and program status updates.
