A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Data Scientist-Internship at Siemens Gamesa, you will collaborate with the Operational Experience & Data Analytics team to analyze turbine performance metrics, focusing on Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability under the SGRE service contract. Your tasks involve extracting and validating data from various sources like SAP and SCADA, developing scripts for analysis, and communicating the insights in PowerBI, all while demonstrating Azure Technologies for efficient data processing.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Acquire and maintain data from primary and secondary sources, performing SQL/Transact SQL queries to efficiently fetch data.
- Process and analyze data from relational database structures, applying statistical and data analytics methods to generate insights on business-relevant topics.
- Operate and optimize pre-defined tools, applications, and data management systems to improve data processing efficiency.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence solutions to support decision-making processes.
- Present information through comprehensive reports and engaging visualizations in PowerBI to facilitate understanding and action.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure data quality and relevance, driving continuous improvement in data analytics practices.
