A Snapshot of Your Day
In this pivotal role, your day will be a fast-paced blend of data strategy and collaborative execution, representing the Gas Service Central business in working closely with the program teams of PLM Masterplan and S4E-Unify. You’ll drive data readiness initiatives in GS C, ensuring that global data migration strategies and methodologies are enriched and adapted to local specifics during multiple rollouts across various locations. Your keen eye for detail will help prioritize critical data objects, setting the stage for a seamless migration process.
As you dive into data migration, you’ll orchestrate and organize cleansing activities, guiding the business teams through the intricacies of data preparation and ultimately supporting the data migration execution. Your expertise will empower them to tackle challenges head-on, while you monitor and report on the progress of these activities, ensuring that every piece of data is ready for a successful transition.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your day as you engage with multiple capabilities, aligning business data and integrating multiple interdependencies. Your ability to foster strong partnerships will be key in driving our data initiatives forward
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Represent Gas Services Central in collaboration with PLM Masterplan and S4E-Unify teams to ensure alignment on data migration strategies
- Drive data readiness initiatives, adapting global methodologies to local requirements during multiple rollouts
- Prioritize critical data objects to ensure a seamless migration process and prepare identified essential data
- Orchestrate and organize data cleansing activities, providing guidance to business teams on complexities of data preparation and driving data migration execution execution
- Monitor and report on data cleansing and migration progress, offering insights to stakeholders
- Engage with multiple capabilities to align business data and integrate various interdependencies, ensuring a cohesive approach to data management
What You Bring
- Proven experience in data management and migration, with strong knowledge of PLM systems (preferably Teamcenter) and SAP S/4HANA; degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering)
- Strong analytical skills to prioritize critical data objects and driving data readiness initiatives by adapting global methodologies to local needs
- Excellent project management skills with a successful track record of orchestrating and executing data migration initiatives
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams at all levels
- Experience in driving data readiness initiatives and adapting global methodologies to local needs
- Ability to navigate complex data landscapes and integrate multiple interdependencies to ensure cohesive data management.
- Proactive attitude focused on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
