A Snapshot of Your Day
The Customs Quality Reporting & Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the USA Customs operation by maintaining the internal customs trade databases and systems to support all reporting, data analytics and visualization, as well as supporting process automation projects for the USA Customs department.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure the consistent, accurate, efficient, and appropriate management of Customs SQL database, using queries to retrieve, analyze, update, and create objects.
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc data reports, KPIs, and dashboards with BI software.
- Support trade compliance process digitalization using ETL software, Power Automate, UiPath, Mendix, SharePoint, SAP, Snowflake, Global Trade Management software and other tools.
- Liaise between IT developers and Global Functional Excellence function to define and implement IT demands for corporate solutions.
- Create and maintain technical process documentation for all applications and processes in scope of responsibility.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of relevant experience with data management, reporting, and analytical software tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business intelligence or data management, international business, supply chain, or logistics.
- Adaptability, effective collaboration across cultures, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and interpretative skills.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Snowflake experience a plus.
- Fluent written and verbal skills in Spanish and English required.

The Customs Quality function supports the compliant operation and adherence to U.S. import regulations by means of conducting internal reviews and spot-checks, process optimization, identifying and leveraging customs duty savings, preparing monthly and quarterly data reporting, and managing customs duty payments for all Siemens Energy, Inc. business areas.
