A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy at our Mount Pleasant, PA site in the Greater Pittsburgh Area!

You’ll partner closely with an operations team focused on field services for power plants in maintenance shutdowns. This team includes a massive tool depot dedicated to providing high quality tool kits to technicians and engineers in remote locations and the engineering teams developing maintenance plans. You’ll play a key role in improving how work gets done, helping teams operate more efficiently and execute right‑first‑time.

You’ll be actively engaged in the business, conducting thorough reviews of current operational practices and collaborating with teams to develop and implement key performance metrics. By systematically identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, you’ll take the lead in driving actionable initiatives that ensure best practices are not only established but consistently delivered across all areas of operation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop a strategy for the future. Develop a roadmap of how to create small wins early and build progress for making improvements.
  • Challenge how work gets done. Influence the organization on how to perform operations in ways that meet performance targets while improving the lives of employees.
  • Anticipate risk early. Develop leading indicator information from trending data that leads to preemptive error avoidance.
  • Drive Lean improvements. A focus on A3s, Kaizens, and value‑stream actions.
  • Apply AI and automation. Identify areas where automation can reduce effort and improve performance. Drive process improvements by focusing on incremental small wins and build on success.
  • Build Partnerships. Collaborate across internal and external organizations to achieve synergies at touchpoints and eliminate non-value-added tasks.
