A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Project Procurement Manager at Real Estate, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping procurement and supplier strategies to achieve optimal results in cost, quality, and project objectives. You will actively participate in project meetings, ensuring seamless communication with various departments while coordinating internal communications and summarizing the award process for approvals. Your expertise will extend to engaging with suppliers relevant to your material fields, monitoring market trends, and selecting the best suppliers for each project. Stay ahead of the curve by continuously developing your skills through collaboration with procurement colleagues and Real Estate partners.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will oversee the procurement of national and international construction main and ancillary services, technical building equipment, and engineering services tailored to Real Estate requirements.
  • Create and manage electronic tenders, evaluate offers, and lead price and contract negotiations through to contract conclusion, including supplementary and claim management.
  • Define and implement procurement strategies for your material fields, conducting needs, market, and supplier analyses to ensure a cost-efficient and timely supply of high-quality materials.
  • Conduct worldwide market analyses based on project locations to contribute to optimal procurement strategies and foster collaboration with top suppliers.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to defined purchasing methods, processes, and systems within a digital procurement environment.
  • Manage supplier relationships for your material fields, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
  • Plan, generate, and document savings while collaborating closely with internal teams such as legal, project management, and construction planning.

What You Bring

  • You hold a successful degree as an architect, civil engineer, industrial engineer with a focus on construction, or possess commercial education with a technical construction background.
  • You bring several years of experience in project management or procurement within the construction industry or real estate sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills, goal orientation, and a proactive approach are key strengths you possess.
  • You have a solid understanding of project management specific to procurement and contract law.
  • Fluent English and proficiency with Office tools are essential; knowledge of German is a plus.

Our team is actively supporting the Siemens Energy Procurement Transformation, a global initiative launched to optimize the functionality of Siemens Energy Procurement, both with focus on the organization and on digitalization opportunities. We are looking for a driven, self-motivated individual with excellent project management skills to support the successful integration of our BPO provider.
