You start your day by syncing with a small, dynamic team, exchanging insights and aligning on how to push our finance processes to the next level! Whether you’re refining financial reports, supporting our SAP S/4HANA rollout, or working on a prototype for automated reporting using the latest technology, you’re at the center of a finance function that’s being built from the ground up!

This role offers more than just a seat at the table, it offers the chance to help define the table. You’ll join Siemens Energy’s newest U.S. factory at a key moment in its development and help shape the digital finance landscape from day one. How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

• Help design and optimize digital finance processes that support factory operations and scale with growth.
• Contribute to the successful rollout and continuous improvement of our SAP S/4HANA system.
• Use and explore sophisticated tools — including AI, automation, and data visualization platforms — to turn financial data into real-time insights.
• Support financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling and take part in internal controls, audit preparation, and financial accuracy initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies and actively shape smarter solutions that drive transparency, agility, and business impact.
• Collaborate across teams — from engineering and procurement to IT and project management — in a truly cross-functional environment.

What You Bring (requirements)

• A university degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field with strong financial and digital orientation.
• 5+ years of experience within finance, Controlling or Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP/reporting systems is a plus, along with a genuine interest in digital technologies such as AI and automation.
• Curiosity, resilience, and a proactive attitude — solution oriented, ownership driven, and able to thrive in a fast-changing, tech-forward environment while collaborating optimally with strong communication skills.
• A growth mindset with the ambition to develop into a future leader in finance, continuously learning and building something new.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
