To own and manage the delivery for SGT Modules, Package and Controls assembly and test cells, in line with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People (SQCDP) targets.

To continually improve the department's performance in manufacturing efficiency, reduce product cost, to provide growth and development to the team.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Ensure that products are delivered on time, within cost and quality requirements.
Identify investments and activities required to maintain and improve manufacturing capability/efficiency and output for both the short and longer term (3-18months).
Own and implement budgets to meet required business targets.
Ensure adherence and appropriate Compliance, Health, Safety and Environmental practices are in place to meet company policy and strategy requirements.
Be open in your communication detailing changes of strategies and objectives to create an environment of continuous improvement.
Effective team working and good industrial relations are essential for this role.
Organise the required resources and processes (reliable, capable, cost effective) are available to meet the groups business requirements for both long and short term.
Support the introduction and optimise the use of digital tools (Opcenter, Tableau, MES, SAP)
Be an ambassador for the business - Hosting customers, external and internal interested parties.

What You Bring

Leadership experience essential, Management qualification an advantage
Understanding of continuous improvement and LEAN techniques desirable
Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques
IT systems knowledge : SAP, Microsoft packages
Health & Safety competence (IOSHH Training)
Excellent Communication and People Skills
Proactive approach and ability to work in and form teams
Willingness to deputise for Head of PMF
Project Management knowledge a plus
