As a CNC Machine Operator, you will program, set up, and operate various CNC machines to manufacture and repair precision components essential for Siemens Energy’s balance energy solutions. Your role involves ensuring products meet exact tolerances, giving to safety and efficiency while working within a team that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Configure and operate CNC floor laser welding and 5-axis milling machines to produce precision components.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications to guarantee high-quality results.
• Implement real-time NC program adjustments to improve machining processes, including conversions between metric and imperial units.
• Conduct detailed quality inspections using instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
• Ensure workspaces, tools, and equipment are kept clean while following lubrication and maintenance protocols.
• Assist in quality assurance and process documentation to promote continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Educational background includes an Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent to a high school education.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience required.
• Proficient in reading, writing, completing simple forms, and understanding basic written instructions.
• Experience in milling and CNC operations, particularly in the energy sector, is preferred.
• Familiarity with Fanuc 0 and Siemens 840 control systems is vital.
• Ability to operate complex CNC machines, including 5-axis milling.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
