A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development and Account Manager with a strong focus on Data Center solutions and services. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on account management, ensuring growth in new markets while deepening relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technology infrastructure, data center operations, and enterprise sales.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the data center sector while building strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies and conduct market research to anticipate industry trends and customer needs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, managing the entire sales cycle to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop account plans to maximize revenue growth and cross-selling opportunities while providing consultative support on data center infrastructure optimization.
  • Collaborate with IMB sales and product teams to deliver customized solutions and work with Hubs and other Business Areas for effective account management.
  • Assist Communication & Marketing in designing targeted campaigns for data center clients and report on pipeline development and account performance to senior leadership.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within data center industries.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, networking, cloud integration).
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate large contracts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 40%) as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
