A Snapshot of Your Day
Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assembles mechanical components
- Utilizes documentation systems
- Works within a team and individually
- Follows documentation and checklists to completion
- Uses tools and equipment, including manual, electrical, and hydraulic tools.
- Coordinates with team leads, and line managers.
- Receives instructions from industrial engineers, process engineers, and quality inspectors.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe workstation and contributes to a safe work atmosphere.
What You Bring
- Ability to thrive in a very diverse job with a big variety of tasks
- Willingness to work independently and in smaller groups
- Physically strong and able to do work standing up, on the knees or in confined spaces
- Willingness to follow processes in detail and carry out quality checks continuously
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high quality standards.
- Mechanical skills or education is an asset
- Experience working as a mechanic or within the aerospace industry is a plus.
- Experience in using manual, hydraulic, or electrical hand tools is preferred
- Experience in production processes is preferred.
- Educational background in any technical area is an asset.
