A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Tooling Advisory Expert in the TLEX Team, you will be responsible for managing and developing the most efficient and cost-effective tooling solutions while ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, and safety standards. You will support product development in close collaboration with technology teams, regional offices, and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide support to other CNTO areas regarding project installations, commissioning, 8D, NCR, HSE, and more.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You will provide guidance and troubleshooting related to tooling design and collaboration in Product Development, including requirements, proposals, and improvements.
You will influence decision-making for technical aspects and ensure the validation of tooling documentation packages.
You will conduct product analysis to determine necessary tools and define tooling requirements.
You will oversee the conceptual design process, ensuring validation by Health & Safety (H&S) and expert technicians.
You will perform 3D design and tooling calculations, including the creation of Calculation Reports, User Manuals, Design Risk Assessments, and Quality and Maintenance manuals.
You will validate tooling through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), while continuously improving construction equipment, documentation, and processes.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and calculating equipment for the Wind Industry, preferably in the construction sector.
Proficiency in English (minimum B2+ level) and familiarity with GWO (Global Wind Organisation) standards.
Strong IT skills, including experience with NX, CATIA, FEA applications (Ansys, Siemens NX, Abaqus), Team Center, Windchill, and Office 365.
In-depth knowledge of European and relevant standards for equipment design, such as the 2006/42/CE Machine Directive, EN13155, and EN199X.
Solid understanding of various manufacturing processes, including welding and stamping, as well as expertise in manufacturing drawings and mechanisms like cylinders and bearings.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive attitude, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams.
