R&D Administrative and Commercial Professional

A Snapshot of Your Day

To joining our R&D Center at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in Izmir, Türkiye, we are seeking an Administrative and Commercial Professional who will be responsible for supporting the center’s business administration and commercial operations.

In this role you will be coordinating R&D Center activities to ensure continuity and efficiency, while supporting certification process and audit preparations to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

 How You’ll Make an Impact

• Responsible for technical and commercial operations for Türkiye R&D Center according to Law no. 5746
• Responsibility for the R&D Center corporate tax and personnel incentives
• Project breakdown, budget and resource planning, alignment with resource owners for R&D Center projects
• Stakeholder management: interface between the organization and external stakeholders (all Legal entities, Ministries, Universities, Auditors etc.)
• Responsible for tracking and coordinating all incentive programmes (5746 incentives, TEYDEB incentives, all kinds of European incentives etc.)
• Establishing new links with universities, ministries, and consultants to enlarge our R&D Center capabilities and travelling when needed
• Finance and P&L responsibility of the team located in Türkiye office
• Support technical management in relevant financial tasks on request
• Budget and incentive responsibility for the assigned cost centers

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or related area.
• Minimum 5 or more years; preferably in the areas of R&D engineering & coordination, finance & commercial and technical management experience.
• Türkiye Science Ministry R&D Center Portal knowledge
• SAP S/4HANA
• Ariba knowledge
• Having no military obligation
• Having B type driving license, open to travel and global 15%
• Good communications skills in English and Turkish

The R&D Center in Izmir was established in 2019 and has been supporting various Business Units within Siemens Gamesa ever since. It plays an active role in the support of both onshore and offshore wind turbines, with a strong focus on grid connection and service technologies. The center boasts a highly qualified workforce that contributes to Siemens Gamesa through extensive scientific activities, university collaborations, and participation in international projects.
